You know, when I’m really down someday and i need a really good pick me up, i think I’m going to look back on my search engine results in my blog stats. As a now blogger, i check my stats, see who’s checking my blog, ya know, that stuff. Also as a blogger, i talk to my fabulous aunt, seeing as she’s had a little bit more experience than i have. Now, tonight i went into her office, and we’re casually talking and i mentioned blogging, and then i said “Ya know, it’s pretty funny, considering that I only had three known views of my blog yesterday. And then, all of a sudden, today, whammo! 20 some-odd views.” So she asks me how it might happen, and i have NO idea. So then she asks bout search engine referral type things. And I tell her “Well… someone did google my critique on ‘Total Drama Island’.” To which she asked me if it was googling my critique and i said “No, it was something along the lines of ‘Total drama island big boobies’.” She looks at me, as i am grinning, and she replies, “No way, i gotta see this.” So, few minutes later we’re pulling up the stats, and we didn’t really care about the number, but we wanted to see what people were using to find my blog in the search engine.
